Good news for all the map-fanatics out there, patch 1.19 brings more changes around the world:
Miscellaneous updates.
- England has gotten control of Alencon and Maine. Better reflecting the not-fully-honored treaty of Tours.
- Muscovy has gotten one new province between Tver and Yaroslavl named Rostov. Novgorod-controlled Kholm has split in Kholm and the new province of Luki.
- The Nubian and Ethiopian region has gotten a few more tags, but seemingly no new provinces (so nerfing Ethiopia a bit), in the form of Beja, Damot, Hadiya and Welayta. Adal controls the former Ethiopian province of Dawaro in 1444.
- The Portuguese province of Alentejo has been split in Evora and Beja.
- The Timurids have gotten one more province in the Persian region, Abarquh.
Scandinavia has gotten a beautiful update to its development and province count.
- Denmark has three new provinces.
- Norway has three new provinces.
- Sweden and Swedish Finland have gotten five new provinces.
- A new OPM and province has been added to Northern Germany called Dithmarschen.
The Balkans have gotten an update too.
- Hungary has gotten the province of Szerem/Srem, which has been split from Bacs.
- Srbija has been split in two to better reflect the importance of Smederevo, the capital, and Belgrade. So Smederevo is now its own province. Srbija probably has Belgrade as its provincial capital.
- Albania has been split in three, creating two more provinces. So we now have Albanian-controlled Lezhe, Venetian-controlled Durazzo and Ottoman-controlled Avlonya. Probably Albanian culture in all three of them, but that´s just speculation.
Wastelands.
- The Alps have been added between Savoy, Switzerland, Austria and other minor Italian and German states.
- The Pyrenees have been added between France and Spain.
- Multiple untraversable mountain ranges have been added between Norway and Sweden.
- The Carpathian mountains have been added between Moldova and Hungary.
- The Caucasus mountain range has been added, splitting Georgia from the steppes to its North.
- The Atlas mountains have been added in the Maghreb.
- New mountain ranges in Persia and Azerbaijan.
