The note about being unable to take provinces you can't core is still wrong.

Would it be possible to get a "total development" figure just under the current war score cost of nations when you mouse over the war score? This could be useful for AE planning as well as feeding vassals.

Edit: Many may not realize that you can view development under "country" tab when feeding vassals, but it can be a pain to sort that for every target.

Anything above 30-20 then? i mean i understand it was unwieldy but it was pwetty usefull

Could you get it showing AE for countries you've marked as interesting? That way you get to at least see a bit more info. In most cases I don't care if some HRE minor hates me, but it is nice to know what the big boys are thinking.

I was not referring to the peace deal screen, but to "province costs this much war score" area on the province UI. You can see how much war score the whole nation costs by mousing over that, and it would be a useful place to house that nation's total development at present also, something you can otherwise only access via spamming arithmetic or looking in the ledger constantly.

And also maybe check Army Tradition gain?? Wars non-stop by Osmans during 40 years 18 supported forts and still 30 AT, as before wars, for taking an enemy 3 level fort 2 AT Is it ok? Time to take (-AT) is more then acquired AT.....

Disable automatic updates on steam.
That by itself doesn't do anything useful for this purpose. The game will still update if you run it from the Steam client while online. "Automatic update" setting only controls whether the game updates when you aren't running it.

Why is po_annex = yes removed from all wargoal_types in 1.13?
Because "annex" is no longer a peace option. It's just what happens when you take all their provinces.

OK, thanks! Would have po_annex = yes still in there make a difference? Because I've noticed that vassalisation seems more rare in my mod in 1.13 vs. 1.12.2. Wonder why that is?

(EDIT: Annex disappeared as a peace option already in 1.12, didn't it? Not that it needs to make any difference, but potentially...)

Yes, it was removed in 1.12. Most likely the po_annex didn't have any effect after that

Probably not. But I notice that it seems that it is cheaper to 'annex' countries (at least OPM's) now that it's tied only to provinces instead of outright annexation. Am I right, or mistaken here?

EDIT: Maybe need to buff the wartype AE factors? Or what is the driver behind which provinces and peace deals the AI chooses to go for?

I was strongly hoping 1.13 would restore some better means to help players running large empires decide in which provinces buildings would be most useful. The building ledger was immensely useful for that purpose. I understand that when build slots became limited, someone probably thought 'Oh, this ledger is pretty much useless now, lets remove' - but in fact it would be vastly better than nothing to bring it back, hopefully with a 'building slots left' column. Being able to do simple things like sort your provinces by basetax, production and manpower values alone is tremendously helpful.

Using the building interface is great when your country is small or moderately sized, but some of us are still trying to run map-painting empires here ;)

Sure it is cheaper generally to annex than to vassalize. Because of war goal reductions in diplo costs to annex vs vassalize.

Did this start in 1.13? Because 1.12 saw its fair share of vassalisations in peace deals, even of OPMs, but now it's mostly annexations and province cedings.

Has anyone else noticed that it seems cheaper to demand provinces or annex in 1.13 versus 1.12.2? Or is it only in my mod?

Because I can't really find any material difference in defines.lua. Maybe it's in the exe?
