Check how much it is civs. I see in 1939/1940 in my game, they builds lot of them, probably focusing for early weak and later strong game.Hmmm, something's off.

Also, not sure if this was intentional, the British Empire just seems to be absurdly powerful. (Only weeks apart from first screenshot; this is all AI only)

I wholeheartedly approve of this new approach. It was always a bit aggravating not knowing whether a particular issue was being sorted out or not. Thank you for the information!Hello all! I hope you're having a good time with the Barbarossa patch and the No Step Back DLC.
As usual for new releases we are keeping an eye on bug reports and I'll try to keep the list of known issues found so far, as well as their fixes or workarounds.
Also, remember that following a large release like 1.11 most mods are likely to be incompatible and be either seriously bugged or outright crash the game.
Known issues in 1.11
- Equipment conversion doesn't work in the production system
- Will be fixed in an upcoming patch
- Pre-requisites for Polish focus 'Expand the University of Warsaw' can never be fulfilled
- Will be fixed in an upcoming patch
- Some characters use a small Walther Von Brauchitsch portrait when the DLC-locked portrait is not available
- Will be fixed in an upcoming patch
- Japanese communist subtree cannot be completed because fascists do not flee to Manchuria
- Will be fixed in an upcoming patch
- Game goes out-of-sync when playing with different translation
- Workaround: make sure all players use the same language
- Will be fixed in an upcoming patch
- French AI does not pick De Gaulle as their leader if they lose the Battle of France, locking themself out of the Free France focus tree
- Workaround: watch the Ardennes forest and do not let Charles Hutzinger anywhere near Sedan
- Will be fixed in an upcoming patch
- Some fonts are missing a glyph for 'ņ' (shows as '?')
- Under investigation
- Armor Pack models cannot be selected in the Tank Designer with No Step Back active
- Under investigation
I have an issue with that too, but I had the armor research boosts. Instead, I didn't get the Pz III and Pz IV modelsGerman "Treaty with the USSR" doesn't give 2 armor research boosts

I managed to get Arheo's attention with this one. He said he would "pass it on". Time to cross our fingers. The bug that breaks forming RK Ostland as Germany is still there.
common/decisions/GER.txt
line 756
It says
"release = BLR"
but it should say "release_on_controlled = BLR", like it does for Ukraine in line 874
Ukraine works. Ostlands doesnt
Which leads to this, which casually encircles half the german army (old screenshot, but bug still exists in 1.11):
(i used the thumbnail of my mod that fixes this. ("Ostland bugfix") but you get the idea)

Re-integrate the railroads (focus for HUN - hungary) isnt actually giving any railroads.
Hi all,
I'm playing without the "La Resistance" DLC, and Spain has no political advisors - either in 1936 or 1939. Not sure if this was intentional.
Thanks!

New discovery, random countries go braindead. I tag switched to soviets in my game because i wanted to see how ai handles itself. Literally unplayable right now due to this. Also occured to china and manchukuo according to my friend's gameplay.
It's been a year or two since I played HoI so I'm not really up to date on how it works anymore, but is this as gamebreaking as it sounds?
Same, the game crashes hitting different buttons that bring you to supply map. Or even pressing the F4 key. Then I checked my installed mods and forgot I had two old UI mods installed. Steam makes it a pain in the butt to unsub but I finally went through the menus and did. Now my problem is gone, for the moment. The Game crashes when opening the supply map. (tried several ways (buttons))
The ai just never selected a focus. Historical ai was on, and it happens to random countries. Just played a normal game of hoi4, didnt rush anything and just researched on time, waiting for war to happen. This is not a bug.
Known issue, we're looking into it.
I'm not sure I understand the issue - what did you do in order to produce the bug, and what are you expecting to see?

A reminder: this thread is intended for issues that were introduced in the Barbarossa patch, or No Step Back. I'll be pruning unrelated posts to keep this concise.
A further reminder: this post is not for problem reports. We have a sub-forum dedicated to that - please use it![]()
