Mod compatibility, game keeps crashing (self.CitiesSkylines)

Hello Reddit,

it seems like there are still some mods I subcribed to that arent updated or not compatible with each other.

I checked the post-update lists in this subreddit and browsed though steam comments but cant find the causing mod.

Since 1.1, I keep getting the well known "nullexpectation" error when I try to place the first building (water / electricity).

Here is a list of the activated mods, maybe there are some experienced and nice people to help me :)

  • Refund - could cause the error
  • Traffic Report Tool - could cause the error
  • Simple Clock - could cause the error
  • Configurable slope limiter - works with 1.1 according to author
  • ChangeLoadingImage - could cause the error
  • All Spaces unlockable - passed
  • Tree Brush - passed
  • Automatic Bulldoze - passed
  • Purple pollution - passed
  • Mod Achievement Enabler - passed
  • NoPillars - passed
  • Terraformtool - passed
  • Extended Public Transport UI - passed
  • Auto Line Color - passed
  • Persistent Resource View - passed
  • Infinite Oil And Ore - passed
  • Disable Clouds - passed
  • Traffic Manager - passed, now compatible with Traffic++
  • Traffic++ - passed after hotfix
  • District UI Tweaks: Hide Names - passed
These are all the mods I'm trying to use and they were compatible with each other before the update.

If its not the mods i'm curious if assets could cause this error, any help is appreciated :)

Hey man, I'm the author of V10Bulldoze trying to debug this. First off: After examining my Player.log I see these errors, too, but it seems they don't have any impact on the game. Is this also true for you or did your game crash? Other than that I'm really unsure what's causing this atm. Looking into CO codes I can't even find BuildingManager.ReleaseBuildingImplementation nor TerrainModify.UpdateAreaImplementation. While I have an idea (more or less a shoot in the blue) what could be the problem I have to ask: Is there any other developer which could help me?

First array error could potentially be Flexible Slope Limiter or Ground Level Camera or Precision Engineering. Sorry to be so vague.
Thanks for that and I am trying to find out which one. Ground Level Camera seems to work without generating errors, and the other two are supposed to work with V1.1.0.

I will keep the log file active in my second window and try and see what I do to cause the issue, but that is always a problem with internally running code. After 45 years programming the one thing that I do know is that code can often go wrong.

Update:

Left it running for 90 mins and got no errors to the display. There were three entries in the log file, all of which seem to imply that something is trying to access something has been removed, probably a removed building. This looks a clash between two mods not keeping in sync, which could easily happen with multiple active threads.
