I reinstalled EUII and downloaded Patch 1.06
( NA version ). When I tried to run Patch 1.06 it
started to update EU II files then stopped and
displayed an error message:
"Could not install /Music/late.mrp(?) file.
I/O error. Corrupt installation file".

Should I download Patch 1.06 again
(15.7 MG, heavy sigh ).

Please, advise.

Michael.

I'm afraid that's the most likely solution...a corruption in the original d/l.

Since you had it quit mid installation, you'll need to do a complete uninstall of what's there, and then reinstall from scratch and apply the re-downloaded patch.

If that doesn't work then I'll need complete system specs as per the sticky at the top of the forum please. ;)

Strange...I wonder if it was because the server had slowed to a crawl there for a day or two? Glad you're up and running though. :)
