Patch 1.05 Released

I installed AoD in a file other than C:\Program....in order to fix the "save" issue on Windows 7 OS. Now, when I download 1.05 patch from Gamers Gate (in the AoD folder) and then start the program, it still shows v1.02. In which folder do I have to install the patch in order for it to work? The same thing happens when I install the AoD program on an external hard drive and then attempt to apply the patch: I just can't figure out where to install the patch.

the patch needs to be installed to your main AoD folder, where aodgame.exe is located.
also I recommend trying out the beta patches for 1.06 they fix a couple of issues in 1.05.
