It is great having news from you and see that you continue improving the game. I only would want to ask one thing. In the arma version (the one worth to play) do the tech componets (artillery, navel engeniering, aeronautics, etc...) be able to be incremented from the quantity that is fixed in the arma version (there are 34 diferent components) or it is impossible (I now that darkest hour allows it but the Iron Cross feature of ability increasing works in arma and my idea is seeing if it can be customized better the Tech Teams (intorducing small arms, espionage tech, etc...))

Hi Quintelosky, I'm trying to use EventMakerPro to create new events on IC1. 04 but everytime I create one, the game launches a "run time error". I wonder if the event maker works for this version of Iron Cross Arma. Is there any tutorial on how to use this EventMakerPro?
 
Bug found:

After overwriting the fix posted here, I'm seeing a major bug when I play. I'm playing with Germany in 1936. Happens that the number of spies inside the country is decreasing! Without me doing counterintelligence! I played without the fix before and it didn't happened.

That's not a bug. We fixed a problem with AI and spy system. AI attempt to do spy missions in your country, but if can't do it, he lost a spy (like a player)

Thanks a lot. As I know you do this now for the love to your work and no more for other rewards I fully apreciate (and understand if it take time or cannot be done, life has more priorities). As said, great to hear from you (and know I will beging to think about the mod).
 
Hola Quinte, hace un tiempo que hice el mod de sprites para iron cross, pero por el tema del nuevo zoom, con la versión arma estaban descuadrados. Me preguntaba si al final pensaste en poner un opcional en el laucher para quitar ese zoom. Me daba un poco de rabia entre tener que elegir entre la versión arma (que es la que mantienes) o los sprites.

Edit: El mod veo que me lo borró mega, pero vamos, si al final has tocado eso, lo retoco antes de resubirlo.

Buenas, no, no he retocado el tema del nuevo zoom, sigue igual. Poner la opción para deshacer el nuevo zoom sería mucho cambio, así que seguirá igual

Thank You for all the effort put on developing Iron Cross. I noticed several bugs in certain events causing game to crash. I managed to fix them but i am not sure, if they are meant itself to be the case of the problem. I mean, it seems rather unlikely, you just haven't noticed them, becuse surely you played some testing games.

Anyway, let us know if there is going to be final 1.4 patch. I can help with polishing some softcode parts if needed.

One of the cases i remember is when the event action refers to TAG of country, that doesn't exist. For example the event sets relation of your country (for example Germany) to Finland, which was annexed by the Soviet Union earlier.
The best solution would be to make the engine simply ignore this effect, if it cannot apply. Otherwise, we will need to do the hell of cases just in case...
