I read throgh the forum that fabric cant be made of wool, only cotton, and in the patch is stated that liquor and wine now are made of glass + something.

Well my proposal is to input an "or" fabric is made of cotton "or" wool, wine can be made of fruit + glass "or" lumber, and so on. Clothes, liquor among others.

In Brazil we had (and still have) a liquor industry of cachaça (from sugar cane) and they came in barrel (made of wood). And still on liquor, we can make it of grain, potatos, sugar cane, rice, etc.

A more ethinies (brazilians, argentinian and so on, they weren't portuguese and spanish):eek:

Check your reserves, the ships are being repaired and are in dry dock making them show up in the "reserves" area.

It appears that there isnt a event trigger to support immigration.

I may ask, how could the vicky engine support the HUGE increase of american population, from north to south?

Penal colonies!
We need a good way to colonise the Antipidies and Siberia.
Although alot of Serfs fled to Siberia, as the institution was illegal in that part of Russia. Alot of people were sent there as forced labour by the Tzar and the reds.
Also in the early part of Australias colonisation alot of crimals were sent againts their free will.
I dont have the game yet but from my understanding there is no player control over imigration. And for the free movement of people seeking an new life maybe this is a very good way of modeling it. But if your govement institutes forced labour and penal colonies you should have a modicum of control over these poor soles and what part of the world they end up in!

USA never seems to give up their claims.
My relation with them was almost 199 and I would offer them as much land,tech. and claims as possible, and the chance was still 0.
Because of this the only part of western america being colonised was the part owned by Mexico.
The same thing seemed to be the case in Canada.

All I had to do with Mexico however was offer them some tech.

I was playing as Texas in the grand campaign.

Extremely high tax rates should cause nearly instant revolution.

Too many AARs have passing reference to "a month or two at 100% tax rate"

A limitation on recruiting troops in colonies, to keep troops at a somewhat decent level, and so that war is damaging to the economy (also permanently, if many people die) and won't just force you to buy more stuff off the WM, and conqer another couple of chineese provs.

I do not have the game yet, but screenshots posted here seem to indicate that is possible for a major power to have a standing army of 400-1,000 land divisions. I would prefer to see more realistic army size.

Agree about the army size.

Also the comments about shift clicking - if you need to pay 500,000 to one million, and I remember someone saying they were a few million in debt, then going in batches of 1000 is way too small.

Should have option to decide what denomination - 100, 1000, 10000, 100000, or better yet, "put all available cash into payment".

And oh - read somewhere that someone had to check BB by opening save file.

Shouldnt there be some sort of message like in EU2 "We have an honourable reputation" or "We are hated throughout the world" to give you an idea of where you are in the BB zone?

Tweak the war score. File war exhaustion and weight the provinces. And perhaps file battles in in some other way...I don't feel like having to take control of London to take Canada, or Moscow to take the Caucasus.
