Pattani Mission Tree
I check the history, so
In the 14th century CE, King Ram Khamhaeng the Great (c.1239 – 1317) of Sukhothai (also known as Pho Khun Ramkhamhaeng) occupied Nakhon Si Thammarat [Ligor] and its vassal states – including Patani.

[It suppose to another vassal of Ayutthaya] :);)
It is what Pattani send Ayutthaya as a tributary.

It is true that Patani may have become independent temporarily during the first Siamese-Burmese wars. But sooner or later the city-state was defeated.
