Edge-of-the-map factions have always been a little lame to me, personally, because they can't be modelled perfectly if an area that threatened them is missing....

Back on topic, why not purple? They are in the Eastern Med and that region was known for the purple dyes.

Those purple dyes were sort of a red-purple color that isn't to far off from burgandy, not an electric purple that didn't exist until the advent of artifical dyes and poor taste in the 1980's.

Yeah, the Parthians in RTW are some sort of ungodly, eye-searing pinkish purple. Definitely an '80s color...

well in RTW they were kinda a pink color. Why would I be afraid of men wearing pink colors, they wouldn't look scary.

Ermmm I think your a little mixed up their buddy. :wacko: The Parthians weren't even around when the Seleucids took power. They did however, eventually push the Greeks out of Iran and established a sort of "proto-feudal" confederacy, with the Arsacid family at the top.(Think HRE with Iranians)

Oh man... the RTW representation was horrible. Not only were they not around at that time... and maybe if they were they were off the map... but all the lands they had were actually selecud lands!

well CA is just as pop as EA games, they make games with medium/good graphics, and easy and manageable gameplay...

Try downloading Europa Barbarorum fro RTW its really great.
