Let 'em go

Oh, definitely get rid of Prussia...if it's just eastern prussia we're talking about here, pull everything out of the province, lower tolerance, let them rebel, declare independence (they will), and when you receive notice, offer a white peace, and they'll accept. Konigsberg's not going to be worth the trouble, and an independent Prussia can either acheive stunning victories or be a tasty morsel for a baltic power...but not a mediterranean one.

I have just added 3 more screenshots at
http://www.geocities.com/webbrave/eu.html

Just scroll down. The first one (1601) shows rebellions in Venitian provinces. You would not see it on the screenshot, but Milan is also in the hands of the rebels. The other two (1629 and 1659) show the growth of our empire.

Re: Let 'em go

Yes, but why would I get rid of it? If I can hold on to Eastern Prussia why would I give it up? And I don't think that Eastern Prussia can achieve independence on its own. I know Western Prussia and Kurland can. Never seen it happen with Eastern Prussia though.

nice

Great to see you work so well with such a small nation. I never thought of peaceful acquirements...

Nice one!

BTW I'd like to see you go for turkey next... i reckon with your alliances and current strength you could take em down.

Re: nice

yes, Turkey is definetely on my list. They are not a major in this game (I replaced Turkey with Parma) so i can annex Constantinople and re-establish the Roman Empire. For now, however, I plan to vassalize Hungary - thats the only neighbouring country left that I can possibly vassalize and annex (Savoy is a vassal of France, Spain (Helvetia) and Austria are majors. I'll also try to vassalize Provence, Burgundy and Bretagne. These plans might change depending on the situation.

Great AAR

I enjoyed very much your AAR.

A question, you concluded a lot of royal marriages (I saw up to almost 10 marriages at the same time on your screenshots). I am wondering if it's not too much. To add difficulty and challenge on the game, you should conclude x royal marriages based on the number of real children the Italian King (in your case) had. If he have 2 children, you will have 2 royal marriages possible.

In AAR, It would be a great value to personnalize these marriages!

Is there a site that has these edited scenarios available? I did check the FAQ about editing, but at this point I just want a quick fix...I hope it doesn't make me a bad person. In some ways, I think playing as a minor is more interesting.

Cheers for the help.

Re: What leaders did you use

the only thing I edited was making parma a major in the game. My leaders suck.
