In your experience, what is better? a single big park sprawling across the city? or making many small parks for every corner in my city?

Currently, i have the One big park approach. And it seems it contributes NO LEISURE at all. I still have to place the regular parks spread out across the city for the leisure map to take notice.

The return of investment is better with somewhat smaller parks. You should have enough stuff in them to get a few upgrades, but don't overdo it, as that will have no pay-off. All park improvements have the same radius effects as regular parks, so something far away from the park border can't influence its surroundings.

That said, I also built a few larger parks. They are more vanity projects than anything else, but as long as the budget allows, they are still nice to look at.

I like parks where everything is tightly packed like sardines in a tin, but there's a lot to be said for a sprawling greenbelt that passes between two major roads. Having cross-streets either elevated or underground allows for the continuous fence to "cross" them and keep the continuity of the park. If I need more leisure, I'll add more small parks. But I like a pretty city...
