Park n Ride/Parking Lots....Is it Possible?

In SC4 Park n Ride lots are very valuable for the sims to drive to a major public transportation hub or station and even just large parking lots for downtown areas. Is this possible in C:S? I'm making my first public transportation and thinking about the cims who live further away from the bus stops and trains. I have no plans to spam stops all over the city so many cims will have to make there way by car. A Park n Ride (public parking lots) would be beneficial in this situation.

Or even (use parking lots / parking garages) "just" in order to park their cars and then cover the remaining distance on foot.
Something which in real life would be the normal thing to do, after all ... i.e. not to try to directly park in front of the building,
but rather use parking lots/garages nearby and walk on foot from this point on

You can just put a bus stop and plop a custom parking lot asset in, it's the exact same thing. You can even make some assets that look like mini bus terminals (like IVIaarten introduced) and plop them in groups, put a bus stop in front of it and a parking lot nearby.

the asset editor lets you add parking spaces, have you tried seeing what you can come up with

itt'd be down to the code whether people are parking near to the stops so youd neeed to run ascenario to check.

This is such a newb question, but how do you make comments on steam? I cannot locate where.

I have the same question you asked the author Maxx. I heard there was parking lots on steam but were in the parks menu. I would avoid that. We need proper parking lots that should be in the transportation or roads menu. I heard parks will increase traffic.

Most mods I have seen have working parking lots. People come to job, park the car, work, leave with the car. Pretty neat. There are even some collections that allow you to just plop down different assets and get the shape you want. Also, do not forget, in this game Cims walk quite a bit so you do not need to spam stops everywhere.
