@ Rabid Bogling: Indeed, it and IB were the last two great movies that I've seen recently (excluding Avatar, but I didn't really want to write a piece on three meter tall, blue Huguenots fighting corporate Catholics whilst flying between floating mountains on pre-historic winged dinosaurs) and I felt obligated to do at least some sort of reference. After all, Roy Batty's ending monologue is in my opinion one of the most intense of all cinematographic works.
@ Kurt_Steiner: Well, yes, as I said to RB, the combination was kinda spontaneous, but I also hoped to emulate some of the other Basteds

In regards to Flanders... well, let's just say that a republican minded movement in the United Provinces coupled with growing unrest in England-Scotland after Charles' failed Irish War makes for a pair of very, very worried governments.
@ Enewald: But my dear chap, we've already crossed the Rhine!
@ Vesimir: Indeed, and in reference to the Basterds, let's that make an invitation Gestapo style
@ Judas Maccabeus: Well one cannot keep on rolling off MacBeth and Mark Knopfler references for ever... XD
Regarding England... I can almost promise you that you won't be disappointed about what I've got in store for sweet Albion and her green fields.
@ Faeelin: Oh you'll see soon enough
@ RGB: I'm a wee bit surprised that so many people immediately spotted the reference. Just goes to show that the audience is well-versed in good movies.
But I, on the other hand, have never tried the East India Company you're speaking of :I
@ Salik: Oh he's elected all right, however, his status is still de facto until a formal gathering of the Reichstag and colleges can proclaim him emperor de jure.
@ GaiusC: Spot on in regards to many of the small tricks I employed later on in the game

And thanks for joining us!
@ asd: Gracias!
