Que rapidez. Pensaba que tardarían más en sacarlo (aunque sólo sea una beta).
En el parche hay cosas ¡nteresantes que pedían la gente de los foros como que no se recupere organización al dirigirse a una provincia enemiga (para mitigar la supremacía alemana en Barbarroja), que se puedan hacer traslados estratégicos en territorio de tus aliados, mejorar los bombarderos navales o lo del ratio de oficiales. He de suponer que ahora a más de 140% no dá más bonus, ¿no?.

Sí, exacto. Se puede tener un porcentaje más alto pero no daría beneficios, serviría para tener reservas si hacen falta más oficiales.

Hoy han sacado un hofix.
El enlace sigue siendo el mismo.

This is a hotfix beta for the official patch 2.04 for you to enjoy over the christmas holidays. It was mainly to fix the issue with the metaserver for multiplayer, but there are some other fixes/tweaks in there as well.

It will patch straight from the semper fi release version or from the previous 2.04 beta release (eg it includes everything you need). The checksum shown at start screen should be OAFW.

Its just me and artfox left here still in the office and we are heading off to holidays in a bit, so expect less forum posting until after new years.

INSTALLATION:
1) Unpack the patch into your game directory

2.04 to 2.04b changes only:
- Fixed a problem stopping game from connecting to metaserver
- Ai influence cancel commands only sent if actually allowed to
- Ai more careful about joining alliances
- Fixes for the Changkugfeng and Soviet industry events so they don't repeat.
- Added missing oob from the "destroyers for bases" event.
- Localization text for the Soviet Industry event.
- A tweak to the Danish surrender event so that Denmark has to be in the Allies for it to fire
- Trades will no longer auto-cancel for some nations in alliances

Pues a mí me han fastidiado. Ahora que consigo que funcione el DiDays en Mac me sacan un parche nuevo que modifica el .exe. Ahora me toca esperar a que saquen el parche oficial Y que lo porteen los de Virtual Programming. Hasta dentro de dos o tres meses no lo tendré. Menudo coñazo.

A ver....hace tiempo que no entro en el foro, y veo que el parche SF 2.04 beta esta disponible, bien....pero ¿dondes esta el parche 2.03c?, porque yo tengo el Semper-fi actualizado al 2.03b y cuando le doy al boton de Check for update, me dice que lo tengo actualizado con la ultima version disponible, ¿alguien puede explicarmerlo?. Gracias

La 2.03b es la última actualización oficial. Siguiendo el enlace del primer post puedes bajarte la beta 2.04b pero este parche no está pulido. Puede tener (y tiene) fallos que mediante la participación de los foreros se van encontrando y arreglando.
Si quieres instalar esta versión te aconsejo que copies la carpeta del HOI3 a otra ubicación y apliques el parche (descomprimirlo y reemplazar archivos) en esta copia.

Entre que no puedo hacer rular siquiera pa verlo el SF porque me falta RAM y tanto parche oficial, beta y omega :p, ya no se ni por donde va esto.

Ahora ya comienzo a verle alguna ventaja a las compras en portales, -además del precio, claro- , ellos me dicen todo lo que tengo por bajar e instalar, que si no...

This is another candidate beta for the official patch 2.04 for you. We have focused on making terrain and some unit types a bit more varied and interesting as well as a more historic and challenging Barbarossa for germany. There are also a whole bunch of other fixes as well.

It will patch straight from the semper fi release version or from the previous 2.04 beta release (eg it includes everything you need). The checksum shown at start screen should be GTPL.

Hopefully no major new problems are found and we can make this an official patch with installer etc.

I'd like to give special thanks to PaxImperator who helped us out a ton with proofreading and fixing spelling and grammar errors, which should make a few people happy (you know who you are).

INSTALLATION:
1) Unpack the patch into your game directory. If you have problems its usually easier to extract to a new folder on the desktop and then copying the files over from there.

2.04b to 2.04c changes only (in random order. soz :eek:o):
- Fixed an issue when reloading shaders
- Fixed a crash during air missions
- Speeded up rendering for unit sprites
- Mountain troops now a bit better in mountains/hills/arctic
- Farsher effect of terrain type on motorized units and artillery
- Units now regain organization faster when low and slower when high, bonus is right now +/-25% and moddable as LOW_ORG_REGAIN_BONUS
- Terrain/weather is a bit more extreme now (colder arctic/mountains, swampier swamps etc)
- Changed some terrain in NE France
- Lowered infra on ITA/FRA border
- Made some more SOV provinces artic
- Renamed SOV BB "Black sea fleet" to "Parizhskaya Kommuna"
- Fixed missing check german surrender to free polish provinces
- secede_province command in surrender events can now handle actually
returning occupied provinces the way its intended
- Fixed crash when giving strategic deployment orders to units during transport
- Capped supply depos during startup to get better resource distribution
- Submarine torpedoes now upgradeable
- Destroyers a bit stronger vs subs
- Fixed a few broken text lookups
- Experience stars shown in brigade view
- Experience indicator in brigade view separated depending on unit type to support modding
- Leader assignment buttons now have different types depending on unit type to support modding
- Fixed a bunch of places where map cache loading didnt check for moddability
- General rebalancing of barbarossa scenario
- Cleaned up dead script code for country diplomacy
- Marines are a bit better in jungle terrain
- A lot of spelling and grammar fixes
- Subs have a lower surprise chance but a higher bonus when it happens
- Hills and arctic a bit colder
- UK tech AI focuses a bit more on naval tech
- MR fighters gain more attack and defence from techs
- MR fighters have a higher base speed and range
- Strat bomb values tweaked down
- Subs have higher morale but lower Org
- Ints base speed and range lowered, cost increased
- Marines better at jungle fighting
- Lowered infra in less traveled areas
- GER's surrender and the DDR events are now major.
- Brazzaville now has 20 infra again
- New Orleans now has a port
- Added an event to reunitie FRA and VIC
- GER's surrender no longer removed ITA from the Axis
- Added missing localisation to event 518
- Fixed a multiplayer crash and corrupted saves when organizing constructions from licenses
- Germany should no longer stick around as axis leader even when it doesnt exist
- Fixed an issue with poland being accepted into axis

BETA PATCH NOTES:
- Continuity from save games from previous patches is never guaranteed.
- Bug reports against this beta will only be accepted from a game that was started afresh under this beta.
- To successfully install this beta you must be familiar with manual handling of archives, directories and files. Do not attempt it if you are not confident of your ability to cope if things go wrong.
- Do not install this over an official release; instead copy that release to a new folder and install the beta over that. Then it is far easier to recover if anything goes wrong.

2.04c to 2.04d changes only
- Fixed several strategic effects so that they also work when not in a faction.
- Yunnan no longer prio target for axis influence
- Upped ai lower limit on accepting into faction to reduce randomness
- Fixed missing event texts for tech modifying event effects
- Convoy raiding and convoy escort missions wont spawn arrival messages for each provinces if this is enabled by player.
- Fixed several strategic effects so that they also work when not in a faction.
- Fixed localisation for event 518
- GER should return Southern FRA provinces when they surrender.
- Fixed incorrect date check in FRA script
- Disorganized_officer_corps now has text
- Removed the "Blockade" strategic effects as they do not work.
- Fixed and issue with unit upgrade menu getting stuck at the top of the screen
