Paratroopers Disappear

I had six paratrooper divisions and six air transport divisions. i grouped all the paratroopers into one group, then right clicked on the transports to load them up.

Several weeks later i moved them to Asia (from Germany). However, the paratroopers are GONE... just the transports remain (even if i wait to full org... i don't even get the paratrooper unload icon).

What gives?

One note to my last post... i had grouped the transports together and individually clicked each paratrooper (right-click, and they were not grouped) to load into the transports. The transports that the Germans start with had also been upgraded.

When paratroopers are in the transport planes they suffer from attrition

...i can just see the paradrop now... dropping out scads of dead paratrooper corpses.

When paratroopers are in the transport planes they suffer from attrition

When paratroopers enter their planes they are considered out of supply and their str and org starts to drop. So after you rebase your transport planes with paratroopers inside you have to wait for your transports to reach full org again before you can either drop them on their target or preferably get them out of their planes to regain str and org before using them. This later action resets the planes org to zero BTW.

In any case, several weeks onboard transport planes are too long for them to survive.
