I think it was shot down at a certain point around half a year ago. But i can´t provide you with a source right now so i may as well be wrong.
If I were you I wouldn't believe anything the devs said about what was being developed or not...
They said "Supersecret" is not HOI4. But later they added: "btw, there is another secret game coming up. Yes, and a third one also"
So HOI4 is still very likely?
I really hope so. It would be a HUGE dissapointement for me if HoI 4 wasnt announced early in 2014 and instead we got strange things like rat women (even if they arent made by PDS)
A year and half ago EUIV wasn't even announced, so at the time it probably would've been true HOI4 was not in the works. Today it's probably a different situation.
What would happen in this rat women game? Now I'm intrigued.
I doubt there'd be a HoI4 so soon, but if there is, I hope PDS asks the devs and modders of DH/AoD for input as well as those of HoI3, we've improved many database things in the old HoI2 series games and I'd hate to see it go to waste.

Anyway I've heard people say that Paradox has claimed they're not working on HOI4 but I've yet to see any actual quote.
Well, i´m also waiting for the actual qoute where they said they´re not working on VicIII. XD

Sure. The problem is actually watching the entire thing again to find the exact moment, and it's looong, so no one can be arsed.
EDIT: Here's a different link that basically confirms the same thing. Again, HoI4 has never been shot down and is likely to be announced in January. Here's hoping.

Well, he said it isn´t on his agenda. that doesn´t mean that other parts of PDS aren´t developing it currently.

The one super secret could be HOI4, but 2nd super secret could be already a next expansion for it (or a massive patch).
