České království
Königreich Böhmen

The heinous acts by the Princes Coalition will not be forgotten! They will pay for the crimes they did towards this most Serene Kingdom. Our dear subjects of the Prince-Bishopric of Wurzburg and the Duchies of Silesia taken out of our fold for no reason other than what I can see as malicious intent. Wurzburg joined the Kingdom on their own with no use of the Bohemian Army and the Silesians we inherited from our time as King of Poland. They are part of our blood and as King of the Bohemian Crown Lands I shall not rest until our own people are returned back!

Pravda vítězí

- Jaromír I Czernín, Král český, Kurfiřt Svaté říše římské, Markrabě moravský, Markrabě Horní a Dolní Lužice, Protektor Slezských knížectví, Protektor Kníže-biskupství würzburského.
Hope Bohemia still has increased core cost

True enough. Though tight alignment ensures that regardless of location. Mass India/SEA would work too for example, and could show of Buddhism and more development disparity. It's really a matter of one's preference though. Armies clash and kill each other anywhere.

Edit: 5-10 players in West Africa, all on the minors, would be pretty hilarious too :D.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing I was after when I suggested non-European minors. Not neccesarily everyone scattered all over the globe, but a game focused on something other than the same old big, predominantly European nations. A West African game, as TMIT here suggests. Or "everyone's a North American native OPM". Or "we all start as nations in Asia with 4 or less provinces". Something to add some more variety for the next game y'all play.

Everyone starting as native Americans would be hilarious. It would be carnage. Those eliminated should be randomly assigned Steppe hordes or OPM HRE minors. :D

It would be all about waiting for the AI Europeans to come and smash the entire dev team into oblivion whilst they try to Westernise.

if all devs were in South or Meso America, I feel like they would more or less stop each other from ever reforming because once one started making progress he would get back stabbed and set back

Might be perfect in Mexico. The Flower Wars will be hilarious!

Which is why it would be so fun :)
Except it is questionable how many decent sized powers can come out of these regions, you can probably get 4 nations total that don't just get completely destroyed by Europeans and can survive to westernize but you would still probably not be strong enough to beat a France or a Spain, I think you need all of Meso or South America to do that you can't afford to split in half

So its likely that everyone would just slowly lose once Europeans showed up, besides with the snow ball nature of reforms it might well be that if you fall behind you will just be out of the game compared to your neighbors since you won't be able to reform before europeans destroy you

Surely, this is working as intended and the great gameplay of the region should be showcased sometimes!

It is working as intended, but the way it works isnt really great for having a dozen human players in the area, this happens in europe too but normally its 2-3 players are in the same area where only 1 will get to be a powerful nation in the end, with Meso or South America you could 12+ if all the devs played there but room for only 2-4 to succeed and likely a greater chance of everyone failing in the end, It would be nice to see it show cased just you have to limit the number of human players I feel. 6 across the two regions would probably be fine, but not the whole dev team

Also thinking on it I wonder if there is some gamey way for Nahuatl Nations to make a deal to go around in a circle vassalizing each other and passing reforms allowing all of them to get full reforms much more easily and quickly

Events in the Year 1502 of our Lord
Polish Invasion of Hungary

The Polish invasion of Hungary ends in a white peace as the much superior Bohemian Soldiers and Generals defeat the Polish army devastating the entire country side. The Bohemian troops advanced from the north getting little to no opposition from the Forts as there were no Polish soldiers to support them. The war ends with the Liberation of the Free City of Krakow and its inclusion into the Bohemian Crown Lands.

War of the Hungary Hungry Emperor
In an effort to alleviate the Polish King the Kaiser hears his pleas and invades the Hungarian land. The Hungarians have no soldiers left to fight them and is forced to quite quickly give up their entire border.

Venetian Opportunism
Sensing that Hungary is weak and unable to defend itself the Venetian Merchantmen pay their mercenary army to acquire the entire Dalmatian coast from the Hungarian King for the Republic.

The formation of Arabia
The Mamluk slaves in Egypt have conquered the entire Arabian peninsula and call their nation the Caliphate of Arabia, Sultan of all Arabs.

The Portuguese Integration
The King of Castile out of Boredom or greed, nobody knows, attack their smaller brother Portugal and integrate them into the much larger Kingdom violating their long history with bloodshed.

The Reconquest of the Imperial Italy
Numerous Italian City States renounced the Imperial Authority of the Kaiser these passing years and the Habsburg gave as a task to the Margrave of Milan to reacquire the Italian lands for the Empire. With this mission the former Duchy now Republic have grown immensely more than doubling their size.

The Mad King of Hungary's March
In a lash out of madness from the King of Hungary he preemptively strikes at Austria to reclaim his land forcing his troops to fight the much superior and numerous Imperial Armies. The war is over before its even started and he is forced to give up even more land.

Is that Venice in Georgia to the Caspian sea? Awaiting Venetian cultural shift to Byzantium. :D

Poor Portugal, also we have a Manchuria now, nice, Holland getting close to forming the Netherlands, just needs Gelre I think

Also whos idea was it to let DDRjake get all of Greece

Colonial game is slow in starting, I have been wondering how colonies work with the new development system

My assumption would be a logical border split where Venice gets the European side of the Bosporus and Mamluks the Asia Minor side, and probably Venice getting the Crimea node as the northern border or a similar arrangement.

1. First mention of new fortress system at dev's mp.

the Venetian Merchantmen pay their mercenary army to acquire the entire Dalmatian coast from the Hungarian King for the Republic.

2. Did Venetia join Hungray's war or just lend their army with new system?

3. Did Italian cities leave HRE at new version or deny rule of emperor with new system?

Did a defeated player switch to Manchu?

With Wu high on the list already, a Manchu player is poised to become the world powerhouse. They have more manpower than Ming already.
