Paradox Platypus Homecoming Event August 7th 2013 in Sydney, Australia

G'day Mates!

August 7th 2013 Paradox Interactive and Development studio will host a gathering at the Event Cinemas
in Sydney, Australia! We would love for all of you Aussies (along with anyone else who cares to make the trip
of course) to come there!

The event will take place at said venue from 7pm to 9:30pm!

The evening will include:
- About 30 minutes of meet and greet (eating and drinking)
- 1 hour of showing Europa Universalis IV and another game + Q&A session
- 1,5 hours of community mingling

There are only a limited number of spots (50 to be exact) at this event so you must RSVP to
communityevent@paradoxplaza.com by 2nd of August at the latest to be guaranteed
access! First come, first served!

The event is completely free, but you need to receive an invitation, which you will receive if you
email communityevent@paradoxplaza.com

Melbourne to Sydney is about the same distance as going from Belgium to Prague (plus the roads are not as good and the airplanes are more expensive).

Distance from Adelaide to Sydney being like 1200km-1300km or 13 hour car drive...

Fun fact: Wellington to Sydney is roughly half the distance as Moscow to New Delhi. It's also about the same as Moscow to Rome or Brussels.

It's actually only 356km if you choose Wellington NSW as opposed to Wellington NZ. Much easier drive too.

But it's still the same country. I would need to spend much more time and money getting there. (But I don't have a visa to travel anyway.)

I live in Adelaide and being 40+ with 3 kids my wife would probably reconsider our matrimonial arrangements if I were in fact insane enough to go. I think I'll just hope somebody gets a youtube vid up on this some time after this. All you Sydney-siders carry our regards to the Paradoxians !
