Wow. Killing Russia twice over just because? I never saw ForzaA as THAT undiplomatic ;)

Actually, ForzaA's been spending the last couple of weeks...

1) Encouraging potential enemies (in particular, the Ottomans) to grow a spine and build an army
2) Unnecessarily interfering in stuff
3) rebuking anything that sounded like commitment.

In short, I was a bit bored, and was spoiling for a fight.

---

Now, the war went worse than I anticipated, but it helped a lot in highlighting several issues.

Plus, it taught me a few valuable lessons for no real loss (well, Ukraine qualifies to a degree, though 90% of that was still PLC last session..)

Not to mention I finally managed to create WORLD PEACE (well, EUROPEAN peace, at the very least)

How this happened? You'll find out!

I didn't pay that much attention to the American front (since I was busy besieging London). But 50 000 Russian troops in Pennyrile... that's so beautiful.. *cries*

Hindustan saw a change of command as the artist-formally-known-as yonaz stepped down and handed over the reins to the Captain. The shiny green country is now 88% towards westernizing.

Is the Paradox Office MP the most wretched hive of scum and villainy in the galaxy? Who can say?

Dark work, this; ganging up on a man not in order to win yourself, rather only in order to keep him from winning.

Almost makes me feel like river dancing.

there will be actual rewards in it based on ranking, so yes, keeping someone from winning, and moving up in the ranking in the process, is a very important part of considerations.

And in 1.4, score per month increases towards the end of the game, and countries being defeated in a war accumulate no score at those times..

Ah. So it's not winner takes all. I guess whoever decides the weighting of the score system has a certain leg up there, then.

We rebalance from discussion after each session, with talking inside the group.

The power hungry despots of Great Britain and its domains have been over the hundreds of years been lunging out threats to the Free Germans. "Hansa Delenda Est." has been a common phrase heard from their direction in every meeting with them. No matter what we do they have determined that we need to die. But NO! As the protector of the Free States under this supreme collection of republics I can not let this happen. This is why together with the French King and the Dutch goverment that we premtively attack the British Isles. The German Landsknechten shall land on their beaches, siege their cities. We shall travel to the New World and defeat them to show that nowhere they run they can not hide from our fleet.

Even Republik Tūnis sent their entire force over the ocean to New Mexico and went home victorious! The Republik Al-Djazair were the backbone of production for food and naval supplies during these times of need. These cities of our Grand League that just was incorporated into our land recognize the need and will of their people to stay free. Thousands of Ducats have been now donated to the Republics of Tunesien and Al-Djazair to make the area grow and as compensation for their great war efforts.

Wasn't FRANCE leading the scores?

Also, what was Russia doing in this time? Crushing the released states around its borders?

Russia fell on the Ottomans shortly after the Ottomans and Austria attacked Venice, AND Ottomans got hit by the Peasants' War (not sure which came first). Venice of course got trounced but Ottomans did not have a good session in the end.

It's 1749 now.

Great Wars of this Session

The French-Alliance division of the British Isles - France takes Wessex area, Netherlands takes Northumberland area, Hansa takes Ireland. Denmark is given permission to become Lord-Protector of Scotland.
Ottoman-Austrian Aggression against Venice - Ottomans back-stabs Austria and takes bunch of provinces from Venice without giving anything to Austria
Russian Intervention War - Russia intervenes in the war against Venice and attacks Ottomans. Austria provides no support. This war ends shortly after the one against Venice resulting in provinces being returned to Venice.
Hanseatic-Japanese Mercenary Contract - The Hanseatic Landsknechten was enlisted in the Japanese Imperial Armies service to help them take back their land stolen from them by the evil Ming.
Spanish Liberation of English Colonies - The Spanish government have been working hard to liberate the colonies of England. Spain has been focusing against New Mexico.
The Patriarchy Intervention in Anatolia - The Patriarchy of Russia decided enough is enough and they made the Tsar declare war on the Ottomans yet again to liberate their brethren who were being persecuted for their faith.
The Moroccan Civil War - The Moroccan government faced a serious issue as its Protectorate Hindustan and their Colony of Brazil both decided to go against the Sultan's will. Of course by the will of Allah justice was served with a saber at the neck of the Indian Emperor and the Governor of Brazil.

Morocco didnt attack english colonies this session.

Instead we conquered parts of india in our goal to control the asian trade.. Foolishky the hindustan player thought he could ignore my demands..

Also, my colony in Brazil outrageously thought that my modest 80% tariff on his income was grounds for war... Which he lost.

Added your wars

I think you are being mean to each other.
It would be fair to say that this was the session when backstabbing got to the point where people could feel a knife lodged between their ribs while they were still twisting the knife in the person in front of them.

Denmark supported the brave Scots who dared oppose the English... although of course, once they won their freedom, the best way to ensure their liberty was to integrate them into the Constitutional Republic of Denmark.

The Moroccan Civil War - The Moroccan government faced a serious issue as its Protectorate Hindustan and their Colony of Brazil both decided to go against the Sultan's will. Of course by the will of Allah justice was served with a sable at the neck of the Indian Emperor and the Governor of Brazil.

Lies. Hindustan had westernized and was thus no longer a protectorate. Evil Marocco decided to attack the peaceful and independent Hindustan is a more accurate description.
