God, I can't wait to get this during the Steam sales. I'll have to try to convince my friends to try it as well, so we can try an epic campaign. Of course, it will probably take quite a bit of time to actually learn how to play (Crusader Kings II took 20+ hours to actually learn the basics, for me)

Ah, that's the problem with the subcultures you guys put into the German culture (I guess they are similar in EU VI as in EU III?). The inhabitants of the Kingdom of Hannover as well as an inhabitant of the city of Hannover indeed would be a "Hannoveraner", I guess. Culturally, the inhabitants of this area (as well as the areas covered by Hamburg, Luebeck etc) are Westsachsen/Niedersachsen.

Good one with "Bürgermeister der Bürgermeister", has a very classy feeling to it. Some little adjustments again. "Schirmherr" covers lord/ruler and protector quite well, I think it is better to be lord-protector of a people (the (Eastern)Frisian) than of a landscape.
