That war was crazy. Nuts. From where I was sitting, this was a war declared on the basis of surround and overwhelm tactics against, in stark contrast, an extremely fortified and qualified fighting force. The British side stood no chance, there was no easy way to coordinate and communicate troop movements. Each front was woefully outmatched by the flexibility of free and fast movement on the Burgundian side. Stellar war management by Burgundy and Italy.

What was originally some border friction between Italy and Spain over Spanish possessions in Southern Naples ended with full blown war ensnaring half of the known world. The war is heavily in favour of the Burgundian-led defenders who are seeking harsh reparations from the British-lead coalition however the war is ongoing and there are still powerful unaligned nations who can influence the outcome, or choose to profiteer from the situation themselves.

Fun fact: in my latest multiplayer game with 9 other friends we had a really similar war, which started pretty much for the same reason. Italy (me) trying to liberate their rightful southern Italian clay from the Spanish oppression (another player). Ended up in a war in which all the players took part. It didn't end well for me and Naples is still occupied by the treacherous Spanish invaders as we speak.

Italy stay strong, you can win this! Avenge me!

I feel bad for greykoolf, he was doing so good as burgundy and Martin got wrecked. Martin took bad fights with -1 modifiers. He should have just moved his army back and created a few more forts along the italian border and razed the lands with the forts all the while threatening the stacks sieging his forts. Before long the Italian manpower would have fallen. Same along the french border. The war would have taken its toll then on the FRITLY. Also martin didn't use any mercs, the most powerful mechanic for Burgundy neither did he combine his stacks.

If I am reading the map right, Japan ate Korea and GB ate Japan and Korea.
JAP declare war on Mandy's KOR. While that war was going on, GBR declared war on JAP from the Kurils. Mandy inexplicably lost the war and gave JAP the land up north, while GBR ate the northern half of JAP.

Mandy dropped out soon after that. I guess it's possible that while the stream focused on Europe JAP went back and ate more of AI KOR, which then GBR took.

Did France betray the Burgundy too?
Burgundy declared war on poor Denmark. Italy and France joined on the side of Burgundy. Forza made some comment about Burgundy being aggressive or something like that. Italy and France peaced out. Broke alliance. When the truce was up they declared on Burgundy.

Honestly it wasn't all that surprising. They were up there on scores and had, I believe, the most victory cards on them.
