@SknerusMck: Oh. AI stands for "artificial intelligence", which is used as a casual term for the computer opponents, even though it's actually an abbreviation. So a sentence like "The AIs destroyed my country" means "The computer players destroyed my country".

Around how many men did he have exiled? I recall both exiled armies were at least double digits.


Did his exiled armies end up sinking in the channel?

Me and Burgundy were supposed to ally day 1, so even if he hadn't explicitly told me he was backstabbing me I would've figured it out immediately.

France had 40k troops exiled. They ended up disbanding their army after I sank their fleet.

Am I wrong, or are de Anjou the rulers of England? Wiz, what are you up to? PU over France?

I got a Women in History event putting Margaret of Anjou (Henry the Best's wife) in charge. She died and now I'm ruled by a Lancaster again.

@Wiz you will admit that part of your enormous victory is due to big big big luck right?

It wasn't really an 'enormous' victory, but yes, part of it was down to luck. I credit my stalwart Iberian allies over all other factors though.

Wiz I am really positive that your goal shouldn't be having most points but rather releasing Gotland and giving it all your provinces, that's a pretty realistic and historical concept.
PS I wish in next eu4 Developer Game, (firstly that another one is done and secondly) you let us pick who will play which nation so you get to play Byzantium and show us why we shouldn't be so grumpy to you all the time and stop the endless Byzantium threads with the same topic same arguments (but different person posting) :) .

If given Byzantium, I assure you that I would do my utmost to play it historically.

My guess is MP vs SP balance for Buddhist countries are entirely different beasts (yes, I played Buddhist last office campaign). This is since other human players have the potential to constrain your expansion in a well populated MP campaign more than karma or paper mana do.

Before the war I already knew what the coalition wanted and was already offering it to them before the war had even started to Hungary but was turned down. Ottomans declared the war still and when I offered my unconditional surrender he ignored it and kept occupying my stuff in order to devastate me completely so I can not turn around in the future. (Why fight a war you can't win when you can recover instead and come back later). So I decided I had better stuff to do during my work hours and left.

And yes I've already proposed a mechanic for how to let players surrender unconditionally but at the same time saving their nation from hostile nation ruining.

Its an update for the Random New world in Conquest of Paradise so yes it requires you to own Conquest of Paradise and you will get it if you own Conquest of Paradise

Well of course. Ottomans have exploited that alliance to the max now and is the only one that gained from it. He has no interest in keeping the alliance as his interests conflicts with Hungary who want the cossack provinces he just took.

Ottomans Gg and central Europe lost because they got tricked by an old guy in an alley with candy.

: I believe Paradox has a house rule where a nation is "safe" for like 2 or so sessions.
One session, if the player has valid reasons for skipping the sessions (sickness, forced work on another project)
The exact rule is that players are not allowed to declare war on a nation belonging to a player that is missing for a valid reasons. If declared upon by the players AI they are fair game.
If the AI is called into a war as a secondary partner white peace should be declared as soon as possible.

I wonder whether unconditional surrender will be added or not and whether poor groogy will find another nations to play MP continuously.
Unconditional Surrender will most likely be added for a later version of the game.
Groogy will probably take over Muscovy from Gradus.
