Sorry Groogy ;___;
new world seems a little empty so far, just appears to be some Nahuatl kingdoms fighting for dominance

Any chance we could get a look at how the Colonial Zones shape up since those kinda dictate how you go about colonizing

a real shame that neither Denmark or Sweden control Iceland, that seems like a really great jumping off point to colonize that northern island

Before the war I already knew what the coalition wanted and was already offering it to them before the war had even started to Hungary but was turned down. Ottomans declared the war still and when I offered my unconditional surrender he ignored it and kept occupying my stuff in order to devastate me completely so I can not turn around in the future. (Why fight a war you can't win when you can recover instead and come back later). So I decided I had better stuff to do during my work hours and left.

And yes I've already proposed a mechanic for how to let players surrender unconditionally but at the same time saving their nation from hostile nation ruining.

I am not sure of a good way to convince a victorious nation to accept a surrender, but surely this time period has some historical examples. Maintaining the occupation of entire nations should be economically unsustainable.

On the other hand, I would appreciate a mechanic to avoid a hopeless war by invalidating my aggressor's casus belli. When a declaration of war is made, I should have the option to surrender whatever their casus belli is (a province, trade power, etc.) and if they want to prosecute the war anyway they must suffer the effects of having no casus belli or possibly switch to another.

Does someone knows what the 3rd icon near the Revanchism and the Score is?
[guess: looks like an envoy icon with clock so 'envoy travel time'?]
Untitled11.png

Also, I don't play MP so maybe it's not new, but does somebody recognize the icon at the bottom of the diplomacy tab?
[guess: looks like an eye and a map so 'selected nations view-zone'?]

What are you doing? That is Secret Denmark unannounced feature! We were not supposed to know that yet! What about sacred diaries? We are doomed! Wiz-God have mercy on us!

But seriously, I was also wondering about those, but DDRJake and Wiz streaming 9th October kind of on purpose didn't see anything new in diplomacy screen so...

I think by the end of the next session that alliance will have dissolved.
Well of course. Ottomans have exploited that alliance to the max now and is the only one that gained from it. He has no interest in keeping the alliance as his interests conflicts with Hungary who want the cossack provinces he just took.

Ottomans Gg and central Europe lost because they got tricked by an old guy in an alley with candy.

Then casus bellis need to be wider, since otherwise you will be stuck with just a single province when you actually wanted say 5. Also cannot remember if you can press all claims at once. And anyway it doesn't help with things like imperialism.

I thought I saw it said that expanded diplomacy in The Cossacks will allow you to demand core and strong claim provinces from your neighbors and automatically declare war if they refuse.

Then casus bellis need to be wider, since otherwise you will be stuck with just a single province when you actually wanted say 5. Also cannot remember if you can press all claims at once. And anyway it doesn't help with things like imperialism.

One province for zero work sounds like a good deal, especially if the victim suffers accompanying prestige penalties for failing to protect its people and land, and even more so if there is no accompanying truce. Appeasement like this would only be beneficial for the victim in certain circumstances, like if you need a year to find an ally or build an army. Some casus belli could not be appeased probably, and that would be fine.

If there is a truce then it is horribly broken and if there isn't a truce why wouldn't the attacker come back immediately?

Also does anybody know whether or not it actually is possible for a secret Denmark country to be in the new world? I know that was the code name of the expansion, but in the stream Jake also talked about a secret Denmark in the new world.
