Don't be hurt. :eek:o I merely meant that I can, for example, give you a list of what overlord stats would be if they annexed their vassals, so you have a benchmark of 'average' support. If I thought you had "no concept of such things" I'd codify NPC vassal support instead of passing it to events.

shows who is who. But why the Duke of Jülich is the second son, and why both the elder and younger brother are listed as Duke of Jülich baffles me.

And I have no clue who of those *I* am playing. If I'm playing the lot, cccino was indeed right that I controlled Berg aswell.

So is there anyone out there who does know wth these Jülich people were up to to creat such chaos several centuries in the future? :(
Berg indeed controlled by Wilhelm VII (son of Duke Gerhard VII of Julich and Margarethe – the last representative and heiress of the Dukes of Berg and Counts of Ravensbeg).

That's all nice and good, but that still doesn't tell me (as Berg isn't seperately shown on the map): Am I the Berg branch of the Von Jülichs aswell, or not?

Afterall, technically Jülich and Gelre have different rulers aswell, and I haven't followed the discussion that led to the creation of Jülich on the map :)

Yes, you may consider yourself in control of the Berg branch as well. Whether you RP this as a branch or as a separate realm, or how it is ruled in relation to the map, is up to you.

there is no any separate Berg branches but only single of Julich-Berg since the times of Wilhelm VII. The separate one is only Geldrian (Wilhelm III and his brother Reinald).

Hmm, seems like I have some court-updating to do.

Ah well, getting a third Duchy can't hurt, right? :D

(though it surprising how the counties of Holland and Zeeland together would be more powerfull than my 3 duchies  )

It happened so because he wasn't ever officialy crowned by pope and kept putting the day of his coronation forth and forth and forth...

One day someone simply decided that german lords should elect a new emperor and so they did. Before that however they sent him a petition asking him to finally attend to matters of the Reich.

By the way you and me are in dynastical union. His wife is wittelsbach.

Half my family is married to various Wittelsbachs, and the other half is married to second sons of the houses of Plantagenet and Valois ;)

And I believe good old Wilhelm prevented a certain Ruprecht from being crowned, I am currently looking at the best way to accomplish that. Maybe I should just destroy all Wittelsbachs? Imagine the chaos it'd cause :D

I mean, half the Empire would have to look for a new husband/wife, even our beloved Emperor!

By the way I was thinking yesterday that maybe we should have Rules for Elections(like Papal ones or Imperial ones) as noticed the Winner usually will favour his voters and counter the others and that can't be just.
So for Papacy:
-Pope selects a Cardinal School composed of 25 members(only 12 of those can be directly controlled by Papal Player), who will be at Rome/Avignon, will be easy to note that Cardinals as 'Embassadors at Rome/Avignon' so they Roleplay in that Court.
-When a Pope dies, the Cardinals meet at Conclave(In court of Deceased Pope) and Cardinals can nominate a Religious Character for election(but never themselves, if they wanna be Candidate would need to get someone nominating him).
-Cardinals send via PM their votes to a Papal Election "Mod", there would be 4 votation Wednesday's and Saturday's with result(black or white smoke) in which the character with 15 or more votes would be Elected Pope if after this 4 none is elected next Wednesday's election will be only between the most voted characters on 4th round and elected with 13 or more votes.
