BTW, I agree it would give Rene a very good CB against Loth. And I surely won't oppose anyone recognizing Rene as Duke of Bar, or Duke of Anjou, or Duke of Lorraine. As I wrote previously, the Directoire is about to recognize the title anyhow.

gosh, title is usually attached to territory isn't it? and he already owns the territory unless you post IC that it was annexed, and if it was annxed than by whom in particual and when, who is the current Duke of Bar, that sort of things

Under the old map, the duchy of Bar was part of both Lorraine and Champagne.

If Champagne was conquered, that part of Bar was conquered. If Lorraine was conqured, then that part of Bar was conquered as well.

It's the same thing with all of the other smaller divisions we are looking at right now. No one went into the detail of naming each parcel of land they conquered when they actually played this game. There seems to be much focus on Bar... Not much on other places where this could have happened.

And by the way, the titles don't really come with land. I don't hold Denmark, oddly, but the lords of Denmark declared my characters being their queen/king.

Rene as duke of Bar should swear fealty to Louis of France, not Anna. There weren`t Bar on the map back then, and I didn`t want to play Bar as French vassal, becouse with old map it would be to much complicated.

It's exactly what I'm doing I'm against all of it. Not just for my country, but for all of them. And I'm sure you're not limiting your view to just Naples, but to all of the countries in similar situations.

Yes, I think that new map gives an occasion to mark bits of lands which couldn`t have been marked becouse of old map simplicity. ( i.e. Avignon, ).

But, we still assume, to this day, that the original map prevailed, and by "County of Champagne", we meant all that was encompased as Champagne at the time.

Well, I recognize you have valid arguments, but also I recognize that I have valid arguments. We need someone to make a decision, and that's what the head moderator is there for. And as you can see, I'm witholding any further involvment about Bar in the hopes that we will settle the issue, and whatever the decision is, it won't create a mess with the story I wrote about.

No, we just opt for an early birth of the Duchy of Kurland.

And I rather like Narva being where it is, province and all. Its west bank and should be west bank. Narva had some value, as opposed to the frozen swamps of Ingria.

I think we should finally set some rules what is common jnowledge and what's not. I mean Lord E, man, stop being so bloody omnipotent! Anna's affairs with Freidrich and that Portugese were silent enterprises, there was no scandal so to speak, few people knew about it, could probably suspect, but that's all. It was the best interest for all persons involved in this, that the whole matter was secret. In other words, if you want to accuse Anna of witchcraft (which you can do of course and I consider a very interesting idea ) use some diffrent arguments for heaven's sake! what you are doing now (and what you did with Anna's secret letter and my negotations with English king) is pure abuse of other player good will

I prefer to post my plottings open, but do not assume they are bloody public knowledge, use some common sense!

btw, I wish to remind you that, in theory, your king still supports Marie as the Loth Queen, with his own Royal (or "Royal") word and seal

I'm fairly certain that there are underlying reasons to his departure, and I doubt they have anything to do with not having enough time on his hands. From my time here, I've learned that there really are some things about this game and its players that will never change.
