It's probably a forlorn hope, but I'll submit my improved (I like to think) Breton name set for you here:

Essentially I've converted many of the current French names to their old Breton equivalents (as obviously many names have a shared root) and added many more, including Breton links to some of the more popular European names so those names can change should a foreign character become Breton culture. Obviously they can also be randomly selected as birth names as well.

I've decided against using unusual accents (example: Frañsez / Fransez) and conformed to standard English purely because it's more consistent and removes a point of argument. I've also run both sets thru an online alphabetizer which does just that, as well as removes any duplicates that may have slipped thru the net.

Feel free to query or criticize any of these names but I really do prefer this set to vanilla's -- it's a very quick job to 'convert' the French names in breton.txt to their Celtic equivalents listed here (most are, but not all), and as Breton is indeed in the Celtic culture group I do think it looks a lot better. Finally, from an historical point of view it's really not until the end of the CK II period that many French names become commonplace in most of Brittany.

Please consider this change! :)
