I am sure that if Paradox becomes bigger, they will produce more intersting games

You are so right.
A bigger Paradox means a bigger budget :)

Monsignor,

Actually I have lost faith in most game developers (except Parodox of course) especially american ones in creating thought provoking strategy games. Most developers have sold out to FPSs (Doom like), clickfests(Age of Empires) and doll house (Sims) games since that is where the money is. I have played strategy games since the game Empire on a University mainframe and I think only a niche market prevails for for what I call "Intelligent stategy games". Lets hope Paradox sticks with this niche market.

Maybe you should read what i posted before commenting on it. The fact remain that HOI is unplauable out of the box NO GAME SHOULD EVER BE RELEASED in the condition HOI was.

Somehow I don't think it was lack of cash that decided the release date for HOI... Perhaps you should discuss release timing with Strategy First instead.

First off Strategy first DIDNOT force the release of the game before it was ready that is a rumour that while not started by paradox has been used by paradox to deflect the blame. The fact remains that HOI was released unfinished so paradox could cheat us. They took our money for an unfinished game and didnt tell us Before we purchased it. The fact that they are patching the game DOESNT change the fact that they should never have released the game BEFORE it was finished.

Your statement that there were no plans to fix any of the issues in the future was wrong, and there was information from Paradox stating otherwise for both the rocket and sub detection issues. In my opinion a couple of the other issue you mentioned have been addresed in the latest patch. Almost immediately after you posted your complaint, a patch was released with the previously mentioned issue covered. As a beta tester, I had little control over when the game was released, but I do have issues with factual mistatements that suggest that Paradox has no intention of fixing bugs which I know have already been resolved in beta testing, and Paradox had already publicly said would be fixed in a future patch.

Its not that they are expanding that pisses me off its the fact that they have the money to buy into companies but not the money to finish a game BEFORE releasing it. There is noone here that can tell me that the game out of the box was finished. There is no excuse for releasing an UNFINISHED product. What about the majority of people who dont use the internet who buy this product. They have just been cheated of their hard earned cash because paradox was too cheap or greedy to wait for the game to be finished before releasing it.

There is no plan to impliment certain features that are described on the box and manual like trade agreements and little things like guarenteeing independance and many other aspects. That fact that paradox is willing to fix other aspects of the game DOESNT change the fact that they have some false advertising on the box and the manual.

Umm nothing on the box indicated Guaranteeing independance or trade agreements.
