Isabella of Aragon was a real person. She was one of the Catholic Kings (Fernando of Aragon and Isabel of Castille) daughters. However, if PDS was referring to her, the birth and death date is wrong, that is true. It seems PDS has taken the birth and death date of Isabella of Aragons mother: Queen Isabel of Castille (the Catholic Queen), instead of Isabella of Aragon birth and death date (she was born in 1470, died in 1498).

Yep, my fault. I think I had both Isabella of Castile and Isabella of Aragon, her daughter, Wikipedia pages on my screen when I wrote the event and somehow confused her daughter's title with hers. Changed her title now and her TAG is changed too, to CAS for Castile.

The event talks about her being wife to the king of Aragon and sister to the king of Castile, so it is Isabel of Castille. If it isn't a mistake I really don't understand the reasoning behind the event. It makes no sense.

Also, isn't the 1000 months mtth sort of insanely high for a 1450-1504 period? The rest of the Women in History ruler events are 200 months mtth.

For me, I would like to see Maria Theresa of Russia, Catherine de Castille/Aragon, Elizabeth of Portugal or even Isabella von Habsburg. Some sort of extremely shuffling the queens into random countries. They surely will make me laugh and increase their badassary by 10 million percents. Just my thought. XD

For what it's due, I'm from Catalonia, Spain. I usually play a single nation until I'm totally done with it, and currently I'm playing for the first time since the tutorial, with castile->Spain. And I must say: I don't mind. Yes, she was the queen of Castile, and after the marriage was Isabel of Aragon. But, you are playing a ahistorical game, a big "what if", a empire simulation game. That means that from the point where you start your game it does not have to be "on rails".
And I agree with the idea of rulers being born on different nations. A Russian Napoleon could lead to surprising events, indeed!

Not really. Ferdinand almost lost Naples and Castille when Isabel died. The viceroy of Naples kept independence for being on good terms with Isabel and was supporting Juana of Flanders (who according to Isabella's will was heir and successor to Castille). Ferdinand was forced to give up all claims for controlling via regency when none of the nobles supported him as they kinda hated him.
Only because Philip of Burgundy (the spouse of Juana who the Nobles actually liked) died leaving Juana, who was considered nuts, as regent did Ferdinand get power again in Castille.
