We fixed Memel from a horrible (beautiful) square into a correct geographic representation of the province.

Venice needs to be next. Paradox, if you look at a map, Venice is not a giant island sitting at the top of the Adriatic, it looks absurd in its current form.

Can we please get that changed to perhaps a very small island to the Northwest of the sea? I know its impossible to create a lagoon and the island itself, but moving it a bit, making it smaller, and making the strait geographically correct would be nice.

Venice doesnt look like that for laughs it looks that way so its easier to click all small islands are that way.
(I know Venice is not an Island but for gameplay reasons it has to be one)
EDIT:Yeah I was wrong Venice IS an Island(s) I always thought it was a peninsula, the more you know.

Why not just make islands that are surrounded by clickable coastlines? Like technically the coast is part of the province, but it blends in with the surrounding sea, letting you click on the province without having to click on a tiny island?

While I love a geographically correct map, I have to say I agree with the idea of putting playability over accuracy here. I worry that making things smaller will make it too difficult to click on, and in the end, is it really that much of a deal breaker? After all, look at the map and how beautiful it is compared to EU3. Look at how far we have come? I remember playing those abstract blobs in EU3 and still loving the game so much. I say they just shape it into a fish and leave the size alone. ;)

No, as already said being able to click the provinces properly trumps accuracy. Still remember the one province that when I had an army on it required dozens of clicks until I found the exact point between army and sea so don't want any more like that.

They could always do what Typus did, which was shrink the island to something slightly more realistic, but gave the province a section of the coast as well to keep it clickable. It kept it's strait, but looks a lot better.
