Hey Team Developers!
Wouldn't we all love a better choice of bridges?! I've seen other comment on this too! Is anyone else with me here? Speak up please, they actually listen to their fans here, which is awesome btw!
I'd really love to be able to pick different styles of bridges like in Sim City! The default bridges Cities-Skylines use are just so boring! How about adding the Golden Gate styles or Sydney Harbor or Brooklyn Bridge or even Tower Bridge? There are so many cool bridge styles around the world and they'd go a long way in making our Cities look awesome! We have so many choices of roads, lets start getting a choice of Bridges too please! I tried some of the mod bridges and they tend to be difficult to place or use, You guys should know that bridges add a unique aesthetic to each individual city...why the same old boring bridges when everything else looks so great? I'd take a few new bridges over snowfall personally, but I do think this new addition of snow is a cool one, so thanks!

If you mean they listen without coming to action you are correct. More and better bridges were asked for since release. As usual, not even a response if they ever would consider.

Hmmm, you may be right then. I'd read elsewhere that they listen to consumer feedback quite often, which is why we got the day/night cycle and extra transportation...etc. I don't see what would be so hard about adding different bridge styles, or why they haven't done that yet, I'm holding out hope.

Bridges are something we have been thinking about and also added to the wishlist, but at this state I am afraid I can't say if more options are coming or not :)

I feel the reason why a better bridge system has yet to be implemented is because of the difficulty involved in getting it integrated nicely with the existing network system (its flexibility and complexity is both a boon and a burden).

Also: Considering what the modding community has been able to with network system to date - plus the fact that CO actually embraces modding and communicates with said modders - I think it's safe to say that it's a matter of when, not if.

Just gotta be patient.

(Edit) I guess I may as well suggest something for the CO chaps to jot down on a whiteboard or note-taking application while I'm at it: Bridge parts that can have a custom colour/material assigned during construction.

For example, being able to choose a bridge's type as cable-stayed and then use input fields to give it azure cables, white riveted-steel support towers, and gunmetal-gray concrete pile caps would be incredible.

Less incredible would be a lime and fuchsia-painted bridge, but that's beyond the point!
