Paradox Games on XBOX Microsoft Store - PLAY ANYWHERE

Hi,

I had opened a support ticket about this matter and was asked to post to the suggestions-feedback forum.

The Microsoft XBOX micro-cosmos for us players is an great opportunity to bring together and switch from PC to Console and back in situations when we like to enjoy to play with the comfort of a controller on our couch or with more precise and accurate input from desk with PC.

I understand this works not for every game, not every game is designed to work on both platforms.

Cities skylines is one of the games that works on both, , and has its pro and contras on both platforms.

I bought it with the expectation that having it available on the xbox store of pc and console it will working on both platforms. Yes for sure was a bit too naive and found out only later that in the store on pc you see two different versions (pc and xbox) and that paradox has chosen to not make them available trough play anywhere.

I would appreciate to play sometimes on pc, like when the couch is occupied or when I don't enjoy playing with controller but prefer the precision of pc.
But it's too expensive to buy the same game with DLCs twice only to be able to switch from one device to the other (connected by a platform that anyway is considered "almost the same"

So please rethink your decision, and give us PLAY ANYWHERE please.

I would appreciate an answer or explanation.

As you already mentioned it the console and PC edition are two different versions.
As an alternative to Play Anywhere you could try the Steam Link.
