Hello

I think this issue may already have been talked about but I am so relieved I found a cure I just had to post here

None of my paradox games would run on Windows 7 and I kept getting the message "game had stopped working and would be closed" for all games including Darkest Hour, Victoria II and EU3.

After searching and searching I discovered a post which I can't find again now which advised me to change the folder name of DSFilter in the following command line. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter...I changed the folder to DSFilter_music and guess what? Everything now works fine....

Not sure what it all meant but the files were all 2004 files in that folder... anyway I saw a few posts around the place unable to find a fix for this problem so hope it helps.... horse might have already bolted but better more posts than less I guess

Have a great 2012
