Paradox Fan Gathering 2015 (Gamescom!)

That special time of year where we gather around friends, swap war stories, and drink beverages to keep us warm is almost upon us. No, we’re not talking about Christmas. We’re talking about Paradox Fan Gathering 2015! We can’t think of lovelier people to spend Gamescom with so once again we’ll be opening the floodgates and welcoming you to hang out with us at the show.

Come join the festivities on the evening of Thursday August 6th and meet our developers, tell us you best in-game and real life tales, and snag a selfie with ol’ Fred Wester and Johan Andersson. We hear that if you give them enough compliments they’ll spill the beans on our secret projects. Register for an Early Bird access pass and you’ll receive a medal of honor commemorating your visit to Paradox Fan Gathering 2015. Be sure to sign up soon though as space is limited. First come, first served!

Note: If you are only planning to attend our event, you do not need a ticket to Gamescom, (Our event is held after the convention closes for the night. and you can gain entrance from a separate gate)

We’ll provide an agenda closer to the event but rest assured that we’ll show you one heck of a good time, so come and see us!

Tickets are strictly Limited (100) and on a first come first serve-basis. Only one (1) ticket allowed per customer.

You must be at least 16 years of age to attend the Paradox Fan Gathering Event 2015 in Cologne, Germany. Paradox Interactive reserves the right to refuse entry to the event to anyone who fails to prove their age through valid photo ID. For more details please read our Terms of Sale.

You do not need to have a Gamescom ticket to attend the event, There will be a specific gate for you to gather at and be let in for our event which is after the convention has closed for the night.

There's actually a fair amount of Paradox people coming from all departments Expect Graham (Escher) and I for example!

Well, both

There are plenty of good hotels in cologne, near the expedition center, but most of them are quite expensive during the time of gamescom (understandably). I can recommend the cologne youth hostel in Cologne-Deutz, which is literally 500 meters away, really cheap, and has standards better than most hotels

Problem is, it will most likely be already booked for the time of gamescom, but you can still try !

Also really cool is the gamescom-camp, if you don't mind setting up a tent. It is a really nice experience.

And last, yes I am living near cologne for my studies, and honestly wouldn't mind one or two paradoxians to come and stay with me for the event, if you are short on money

All I read is "the entire Paradox group and everyone flown in internationally can totally stay at my place and I have a luxurious condo where you'll have at least a queen size bed per individual. Also I'll serve you breakfast in bed (cuddling is optional) and this is a sell-my-soul-to-the-devil-promise (also pinky for good measure)".

I'd love to join again, but I can't because I'm in a volunteer year in England :'( But I anticipated last year and it was awesome! I still have got a few beautiful pictures with paradox staff I really hope everyone who is there will have a good time!
