We will have a special entry gate for our event it is accessed from Deutz Mulheimer Strasse and is just North of Hall 9.
OMG that's ~800m to walk from the train station through a non-gamer public environment... do you think all of us nerds will make it there safely?

With Gamescon going on most of the people in that area will be fellow gamers, although you may run into some griefers or fps twitch kids. I hear they can be scary.
I think it's meant to be finger food that can be eaten while mingling, whether or not you can stuff yourself probably depends on how much everyone else eats ;-)

I'll be standing at the stairway infront of the Cathedral with a sign saying "DDRJake" from 2:15pm until about 2:40pm if you want to meetup, I too will be seeing the sights of Cologne. I have the same problem, I read names and hear them in my head one way, the problem is, it is often radically different than how the actual person pronounces it.
Castellon handed out a second round of those medals later that evening, maybe he had some left and is willing to give them away in a raffle? Go ask him!
