There are a limited number of tickets available, I expect them to all be sold before the event.
If you were thinking about paying cash or something, I doubt we would have the facilities for that. Most likely if there were any spaces open we would just have you go online on your phone or a terminal and order them anyway.
If you are traveling for the event you definitely want to make sure you have tickets before the event.

BTW, just to make sure, having the ticket on the Eventbrite Android app is sufficient? I don't have to have it physically (printed)?

Always better to have a physical copy, but we will release more details closer to event time, such as the gate to go to if you have an event ticket but not a show pass which will probably be the case for most of our fans.
Although I do know at least a few fans are from some major studios that will already be at the show.

Well the thing is I dont know for sure if I could attend so thats why I'm asking since I dont want to give my money and not attend,was hoping I could buy some thickets at the entrance but meh I'll see.

Stay tune to this thread then, If there are still spots open closer to the event we may look at something like that, hard to say at this point though. You may also have been able to pin down your scheduled by then as well.

Pretty sure that if you buy a ticket in advance you get a shirt, so you should be good.

Err um sure... Any ball pit you find, you can spend an extra hour in, but in the interest of full disclosure I should warn you that there is no bar service in the ball pits, so don't know how much of an advantage it will really be. YMMV

I was so disappointed that it got cancelled in 2013...

It did not get cancelled, it was only that my beard was so obviously superior to all others that it was no contest.
However since I have shaved my beard this year and am only left with a stache, we could consider such a high brow event.

I was excited until I saw that this would be in Germany... Why not in Sweden? (I can't afford to go to Germany).

Mainly because we are doing it in combination with GamesCom which is taking place in Germany. We've had multiple fan gatherings in Sweden though (and will probably have more in the future) plus there are other opportunities to meet our devs, they've been at Gamex almost every year for instance.

Re: T-shirts, There are a variety of sizes available, obviously the further away you are from Med/large the closer to the front of the line you want to be.

As for LARP costumes, sure we have absolutely no problem with that, just leave any weapons at home or Security will most likely deny you entrance for the safety of the other guests.

A flight to CGN, DUS or FRA should do. The fair area in Cologne should be reachable by train in about an hour. From FRA you have to take the high speed train ICE of course and it will probably only stop at the other side of the Rhine, but getting to Köln-Deutz/Messe Aera station is just crossing the Rhine either on foot or by another train. From DUS and CGN there are regional or local trains stopping at the Köln-Deutz/Messe Aera station.

Do not fly to Hahn or Weeze if you do not plan in a rented car. These airports can be considered to be out in the "wilderness". Expect to have a trip to Cologne from these airports by car of at least two hours by car. There are nasty traffic jams around Cologne these days.

I am quite lucky the fair area is just on my daily trip back home from work. I am just expecting more details on the location to consider where I can park for free.
