Was both svip and ddrjake at the gathering without saying hello to me? :/ That's almost cause for a forum ban I think.

I think optional nametags might be an idea for the next one...
We were actually considering this. I think we need it. At least people need to introduce themselves with their forum nicksSorry I did not realize it was you Svip :/

Please add this for the next meeting. We were discussing it with gigau (given it confused people how he pronounces his nick) and I think aside from the nick there should be a phonetic transcription of it![]()

Me : "Hello, i'm Gigau from the forum..."
Bjorn : "Nice to meet you"
Me : "… from the MEIOU and Taxes mod team"
Bjorn : "Oh, Gigau ! [pronounce differently]"
Castellon handed out a second round of those medals later that evening, maybe he had some left and is willing to give them away in a raffle? Go ask him!![]()
I have the same problem, I read names and hear them in my head one way, the problem is, it is often radically different than how the actual person pronounces it.

I am really curious now about how your name is spelled correctly... May i kindly ask to provide a phonetic transcription for those who've missed you at the gathering?![]()

I have always thought of it like giggau, but it's probably Gigå![]()
