Paradox Connect

Hello,

I'm new here.. I picked up EU3 Chronicles today and installed it a few hours ago. I downloaded the 5.1 patch from the login screen and installed that too. My game does say it's 5.1 now when I log in. I've registered on these forums and confirmed via the e-mail, but my game won't connect to Paradox Connect. Says it's the wrong version or that I don't have a forum account (which I have, obviously!)... I've searched the forums for help but most of the issues appear to be from people who purchased the game from Steam, which I didn't, and all the advice is regarding that. Would anyone have a fix for this? Thanks!

I think they shut down paradox connect because it was to hard to have the in game achievments show up on the forum or something like that.

Also the fact that it didn't fully correspond to what they had imagined. Probably figured that it was too much work for poor results. To tell you the truth you won't be missing out on much.

Achievements will be disabled when 5.2 comes out, and so the PC server is deprecated. As the others mentioned, it was basically more work and trouble than it was worth.
