Like, wtf ?
Why do I need to check my account in order to validate the payment ? I need to fill the form on paradox store, fill the form on xsolla, accept the payment, go to my bank account, wait them to notify me of the additionnal 2$ fee, copy that amount back to xsolla platform then validate. Tried 2 time, never got the notification, that infuriating ! I just want to spend 5 box to enjoy myself, not add another layer of bureaucracy on our busy life..

And, btw, paypal still mess up with 6 digit postal code which leave me stuck haha

Agreed. I prefer to buy directly from paradox so they can avoid paying anything to anyone else, but if the website literally will not allow me to make the purchase, I guess ill use steam.

Xsolla are the third agency Paradox have used in my time here, they all generated similar complaints! Before them was Adyen, I forget the first one.

The bottom line is there have to be stringent security measures to minimise fraudulent purchases, as we get penalised for them. We realise security checks cause inconvenience to many users and are a roadblock to some, but we cannot remove them; we'd have to shut the store down instead.
I think there's probably a simpler (and more effective) store interface that could be made.
The store interface is ours, not Xsolla's - they are just the payment agency.

There is no point keeping the store open if purchases are not permited.

Obviously purchases are permitted, and in fact happen in their thousands. You are right, we'd hardly run a store that could not sell anything to anyone!

Apologies for necro-posting in this thread but since I do not use online banking required for verifying the charges (nor do I intend to change that any time soon), it is now effectively impossible for me to purchase your company's products from its store directly, as I prefer. I am afraid that, unless there are some way to remedy this, I will have to purchase their products from Steam store even through this will mean Paradox will lose out on some of my money because of the cuts on purchases from non-Paradox stores. It is distressing for me to not give all of my money to Paradox directly but it would seem that I have no choice. :(

Frankly, it is extremely disappointing to see that Paradox has adopted a policy that discriminated, though not intentionally but rather shortsightedly, against those who do not use, and do not wish to use the online banking.
