Paradox and the Spanish Civil War

I'm currently reading about the Spanish Civil War and finding the whole period deeply unsettling and utterly fascinating. I've been wondering however if any of the Paradox games do justice to the conflict. Any suggestions on what to try?

There is a HoI2 mod that also covers the Spanish Civil War. Not in much detail, obviously, as Spain is a rather small part of the map.
