Hi everyone, Kallocain is still on Vacation, so you are stuck with, your lovable guest host, me. Although everyone will be relived to know that she should be back hosting the next one.
Still Lots of Paradoxians on vacation, but they are slowly trickling back to work, and the world continues to still turn even in their absence which I know will be a shock to most of them.
Pirates of the Black Cove
This game has been updated with a couple of patches that the guys worked on basically non stop. You definitely want to make sure you are patched to the latest version, and I would suggest starting a new game with it.
An update on the Steam Keys, they should be in our system and ready for members to register within a week. Stand by the forum for further announcements. In the mean time I continue to keep that game forum open to posting by all, so you are not losing any access.

King Arthur Fallen Champions Trailer Released.
The highly anticipated stand-alone game is bridging the gap between King Arthur: The Role Playing Game and King Arthur II: The Role-Playing Wargame, and will be available the 25th of August for a recommended retail price of just $9.99 USD
Those are some pretty big Swords those guys are wielding, I think I may have sword envy.

After Action Report (AAR) Forum
So last week I talked about our vibrant and international Off topic forum.
This week I want to bring your attention to the AAR forums.
An AAR can be many things, from a simple stating of the facts, I did this then this and this happened. To a fully detailed and rich story telling experience only loosely based on the game. Most fall somewhere in between. For just about any of our games you can find a story based on it that will appeal to you. They are humorous, Dramatic, and action packed. The writing quality of some of our members continues to amaze me. Several of them have honed their craft here and gone on to be published authors.
I encourage you to drop by the AAR forum and find new inspiration for your favorite game by reading an AAR, or Try your hand at writing your own in a nurturing and helpful environment.
Some Fun Forum Facts
I received quite a few Private Message comments on my stats from last week, as most found them very interesting. So I will continue with this section.
In the last 7 days our reach increased by 7% to .01040% of all internet users visiting the site, in the last 7 days.
The top Search engine item to lead to our site this week was still "Pride of Nations" congrats to them. Interestingly Sengoku is not even in the top 10, I think because no one can spell it.
Between Paradoxians, 3rd party Devs, and forum staff, there are about 200 people with some form of administrative rights.
We currently have:

Members 293,351
We average about 3 times as many Guests on line as Members (Not an official stat, just based on my empirical data)
Our Largest thread was closed when it reached 100,000 posts. (Those spammers in the Spanish forum did that)
Our thread with the most views at close to 4.5 million is the Strange Screenshot thread for EU3.
Although we are ranked in the top 18,000 websites globally we hit the highest in Norway where we are ranked 1,057. There is some town in the Czech Republic where we are ranked #1, but I don't really believe that unless there is 1 guy in that town and he is a fan. (Or I just had an alternate theory that maybe that is where all the spam bots originated this week) hmm food for thought.
