Anyone know what mod this is associated with? First encounter is with space amoebas around a shielded planet. Defeating them gets you access to a 25-gaia world w/ forerunner tech buildings and then you get an ancient obelisk event chain when you colonize it.

Reason I'm asking is I was happily playing this out last night, but this morning, it seems to have erased itself from my game and is now game-breaking.

Is the Obelisk called "Obelisk of Zanaam" or something like that?

No, there are four obelisk structures, one at each corner of the planet, that initially are 8,8,8 research tiles, which as you improve them following the quest, grant 25, 50, 75, & 100% planet-wide research bonuses. They are just called "ancient obelisks"
