1. Will the majority be the two-thirds of the Cardinals as in the Constitution of Gregorius?
2. Will it be possible for Cardinals to refuse to name a Pope by constantly splitting their votes among candidates?
Like in 1316, when Philippe de Poitiers (future Philippe V) has literally forced them to elect a Pope by imprisoning them in the Church in Lyon.

That is why I say make an event that permit u to accept Pope, just like in real history. Also, you could throw ur support behind the rival pope. That would lead to schism. Also if cardinals spilt their vote u will decide who u support like HRE of Henry III and France king ( I don't rmbr his name).
i'm think that you could get religious relatives; that can become a cardinal (assuming that you own a site with a diocesis or have very good relations to the land who has it)
then your cardinal relatives could become pope....
but for that you need to influence te other cardinals/dinastyes/country...
also; the cardinals would be ever relatives to anyone; or could be there a cardinal that nobody knows of it?
(read: all cardinals will be linked to dinastyes or there will be "FREE" ones?)
also; when "influencing" you would have to influence the dinasty or the cardinal himself? maybe both?
like... player A has good relations to dynasty B who has a Cardinal X; so he asked him to support his candidate; and Player B negotiated with Cardinal X himself and get the support of Cardina X for his candidate..
that would be possible?
