So, when the game comes me and 2 friends are gonna form the faction mentioned in the title.
It will consist of USA, Japan and USSR with most likely Italy and Turkey on the side lines.
Anyone else think its gonna be a very weird war?

Certainly sounds like an kinda boring war to me if you literaly play half the major powers with an massive industrial potential in an alliance, to be honest .

The USA portion of the Triple-P reporting in!

Britain is going to pay for constantly putting this great nation down over the past more than 150 years, and for betraying Japan's alliance after the World War. The USSR's addition is something that was only agreed upon earlier today, so I am not certain what beef they have with the UK.

The anglophobia at the core of the PPP is why we are also looking at Ireland as a key in launching a mainland invasion against England, to ensure that all traces of the British Empire is permanently wiped from our respective spheres of influence.

I would hope the AI acts accordingly if players do create factions like that without special national focusses involved. If a German-Soviet alliance causes every other nation to turn against them (which is pretty much the most satisfying setup I can imagine, World vs. German-Soviets, thats what I call a war), a US-Soviet-Japan alliance should really do the same.

If not, think about your plans, as its going to be really boring until you start killing each other.

We are still a bit unsure on the Soviet part in all of it, but there is no reason Japan cant put the entire pacific under itself without US as an enemy.
The Japanese-US alliance is pretty much convinence in taking down our mutual enemy the British Commonwealth, after owning all of South East asia and China i plan on taking Japan down the democratic Animu route.

Well, Soviets has been exluded because we didnt want any commies with us, we decided upon taking Ireland with us instead as a replacement.

For clarification, we still have a player playing as the USSR, we'll simply be in a non-aggression pact with them.

I'm sure when the war is over, I'll be at each other's throats, since Japan will be switching to democracy. Still, that'll be a cold war for some years in the future, with the US and Japan on one end, the Soviets on the northern end of Asia, and probably Germany taking up much of Europe. For the time being, however, if nothing else then at least until Great Britain ceases to be, the Soviet Union and our anti-Anglo alliance will mind each other's borders.
