Tribal armies are strong and therefore I often stay always at war to take advantage of those 2500-man armies which cost only 500 prestige.

Unfortunately, if your heir isn't a participant in those wars, the armies will disband upon ruler death. This is wrong since the wars basically continue with the new monarch.

If the player concludes peace and starts a new war on the same day, there's an opportunity to do stuff which requires being in peace. Such as moving your capital, clicking beneficial decisions like "Holding a Great Blot" etc. However, accidentally unpausing the game on this important day causes tribal armies to disband. A painful mistake especially on Ironman and I'd reload if this happens in a normal game.

Can these issues to be fixed somehow?

If this "tribal army" exploit exists, I feel forced to use it since playing otherwise is very suboptimal.

I think the stipulations at which they'd go away are there so you can't do exactly what you are trying to do. It's easy to get prestige, man! Hold Blots, go on Grand Hunts, Business/Rulership Focus, make tributaries, etc.

It's really not hard to play as a tribal, unless you're next to Christians. Concentrate on raising your capital's prosperity and you can increase your holdings, which will give you way more troops than a tribal army. I just did the Got Land achievement, and before I reformed the faith and feudalized, I could raise ~6000 troops from my demesne alone.

Eh, it's easy to spend prestige. I have an army of 50,000 Vikings raiding all over Europe for plunder. That's with no levies raised. But microing this large-scale operation is a lot of work.

You aren't supposed to be able to keep the prestige warriors and still get to make peacetime decisions. That's sort of the whole point of the mechanic. You keep them as long as they're at war and then lose them when you make peace.

If you are actually able to keep them through an instantaneous peace, that's not intended and should be reported as a bug. :p

I think the 'fix for these issues' would rather be that said army can only be used for wars already started when they are raised, not that exploiting the fact that you can chainwar to your heart's content with them does not always work perfectly. Probably not very easy to implement though.

In my mind the chainwar thing isn't really an exploit - it seems intended. The downside is that you can't take peacetime decisions while implementing that strategy.

I haven't tried toooo hard to break it yet though, might be too powerful to be able to chain.

These Enenttroops shouldn't be allowed to raid.

And with Demense and good military skill 26.000 demense troops are easily doable. And with plentz of vassals you cam get 60.000 allied troops for war. So I don't see why you should stay at war all the time. It's actually a waste if prestige in my opinion. And You cant drink and get the awesome gamemaster trait.
