The main two areas of focus for a Pagan mod are the steppe tribes and the Baltic tribes. The Finish and the Norse, while they can do stuff and they should be some things for them should not be the main focus IMO. I am also against for a DLC to set the time back. I want to play a game set in the barbarian invasions to the early middle ages, but a DLC is not going to cut it.

Anyways some things I have mentioned that I think should be addressed.
->the religions lumped under the umbrella of paganism were almost always if not always, tolerant of each other and other religions. Meaning if I decide as the russian prince to surrender to the mongols and accept them as my lord and master while still keeping my land, then they shouldn't have as negative towards me as I do them. Like wise if I conquer areas near Finland as Lithunia, I should not have negative relations for being a diffrent type of religion.

->Religious minorities: this can better reflect the fact that a lot of provinces that were considered Christian were only christian in name. This also helps out in areas with lots of religious change; ie Ilbera and the middle east.

-> having a tribal system. Ie similar to rome, showing what sort of different tribes and clans you have in your realm and their relation towards yourself.

->reflecting the fact that polythesitc faiths worshiped numerous gods/spirits

->a way of doing raids for money and coin but not land.

-> hostages. I would like to be able capture people -and- give people away/accept people as per peace aggreements. This could work for a number of groups besides pagans, but I still would like to see it.

-> pagan events and traits!

Just a thought if they were going to drop the date back a bit. A couple of ideas I would think about, the one that wouldn't really work is something like a add period of time to say, Alfred the Great's fight against the Vikings, while cool would be to much time back.

I think if they were going to add years, going back to near the end of when Brian Boru was fighting the Viking's in Ireland would add something interesting to the game. It would add a stronger Ireland, you would actually get to play as the House of Wessex in England, and the Pagan's would be in a bit stronger spot, it wouldn't be that much of a add in time, and would have the chance to play the invasion of England by Cnut. Being around say 1014, your only talking 52 years back which isn't super long.
