How do I convert pagans in this mod?

I can only send my Court Chaplain to proselytize in realm counties but I have pagan neighbours who I want to convert.

2) Does mood basically mean “opinion of common interest faction”?
3) Is there any reason for a player to join the common interest factions? Like Glory Faction, Court, Prosperity etc.

I might be mistaken but I think it's only available for certain religions. What religion are you in this scenario?

On a sidenote it's a shame how reluctant HIP's forum seems to be to answer questions.

Sorry for the late answer, I’m Catholic. I found out the issue though. You have to be independent! I was a Duke in the HRE. I tried in vanilia too, it’s the same. Apparently it’s a CK2 thing and not a HIP thing.

It just seems weird to me that you’re the ruler of Brandenburg or Lausitz or whatever and you can’t convert those pagans just one province away from you.
