Not sure if this is out there yet but I couldn't find it so here goes.

You can put more than one division on a transport. I had two groups of 6 transports in a sea zone. I loaded 1 group of 12 units into that sea zone and they got on the ships. I then sent the ships two seperate ways and found out that one group had all 12 units(on only six ships) and the other group had none.

I tested it out after to confirm. I had 2 transports in the same sea zone(not grouped) and I load a group of 2 inf onto them. I then moved the one trans port with the two inf to another sea zone and was then able to add 1 inf to the remain transport.

Seems to happen when the transports and the army units are not full strength. Frequently repeatable, but not always. Meaning, once it happens, a save game of that one will always get it to happen again. BUT, creating the circumstances is not always 100% succesful.

It works the other way around too - you can have 12 divisions on 12 transports, lose 11 transports in a battle, and have the last one unload all 12 divisions.

Hmm applying a random factor to one of those 12 being destroyed is the best answer yes. :)
