HELP! Noobie here!
All my bust stops are very overcrowded with very angry faces!
I have put lots of buses on the route but when a bus arrives it is already full and doesn't take on any new passengers, so the people at teh bus stop stay waiting?
Am I missing something??? Any advice would be welcomed!

Try using the largest busses possible. But be careful: It is not advisable to have more vehicles on a line than the line has stops. Bus lines should not be too long, and you should not use more than 5-6 busses per line. If you can't solve the problem with bigger busses, you will have to build a tram or, even better, a metro line on that route.

My first advice is: take some time to read some forum topics here that discuss similar problems. People have different solutions for the same problem. What i usually do is: build long metro lines for the crowded places (for the most busy parts these lines can go parallel to each other for a few stops to increase capacity and use trams and buses to feed the metro lines. In the outskirts it's not a problem if the bus/tram line is long and you have plenty of vehicles for one route (but really not more than the number of bus stops as Monolith12 wrote already). Use short bus and tram lines in the central area.
Your current line will not be able to cope with the demand of the people, so take a loan and build a metro line instead of the bus.

Another tip:
Check where people are going, where most of the passengers are getting of the bus? Are they changing to another line?
Try thinking about an alternative path for this line or build another line for the crowded station.
Here is a good guide for network planning, it might have some details that cannot be implemented in the game, but I found it very useful. http://citiesinmotion.wikispaces.com/Mobility+Guide
