Outside of North America for first time

Last week I was outside of North America for the first time.

I thought it was kind of neat seeing buildings and signs and things that looked like what I have seen in Cities Skylines European theme.

Anyone recognize where this is?

For what it is worth, I saw a fair number of Yield signs at roundabouts as well.

Also on the plane, I took a number of pictures of highway exits and cities, looking for some inspiration. (I know I can look around in Google Earth/Maps, but seeing some first-hand was interesting.)

Was a nice trip. Wish I had more time to look around though.

There are only two countries really using the "ø".

This is great because I felt the exact same way about the USA, which helps when making more American style cities in the game.

It is unfortunate I had so little time, as I did enjoy what little I was able to take in during the short time I was there. Bergen was nice, and the temperature was good. Someone told me they get a fair bit of rain, but there was none while I was there. I'm a burger guy, and I went to a place called "Inside Rock Cafe", which a fellow in the hotel recommended. I did enjoy the burger.

I rode a ferry to Austevoll. Didn't see much of anything there, beyond the nice scenery on the ferry ride (which carried cars, haha!). Right back to Bergen after that. Over to Kristiansand to finish the trip. The one evening in Bergen was the only chance I had to look around.
